It's official: Samsung Galaxy Note II launches in the U.K. on October 1
Well, well, well... well, well! What do we have here - an official release date for the Note II, for the U.K. at least! Samsung has come out to announce that the phone which has it all will launch on October 1, making a lot of geeks and moms happy. Why moms? Well, with the Galaxy Note II out, their men will finally have something to fill their time with and stop wanting... other stuff.

... But back to the Galaxy Note II! Yes, U.K. customers will be able to buy it starting October 1, and since that kind of confirms a previous rumor about the device's expected release dates, this means that you might as well be able to buy it on September 27 in Germany, September 28 in Italy, and October 1 in France and the Netherlands, but these dates are still not official. There's still no info about the price of the product, although retailer Clove currently has it on pre-order for £528 with VAT (about $857).

Unfortunately, there isn't anything specific regarding the U.S. launch just yet, but we should have more info soon. By the way, if you've missed our Samsung Galaxy Note II Review, now's probably the right time to read it and get up to speed.
