Andy Rubin tweeted in December that "over 300 000 Android phones [are] activated every day", and this was officially confirmed during Google's Q4 earning call...

this doesnt suprise me. Everyone I know (including me) ditches their Blackberry or other phone and gets a droid based phone. I am very happy with my Motorola Droid 2. I will only get droid based phone from now on.
