It is starting - the iPhone 4 gets the unlock treatment
With the mounting antenna and data speed issues, users can find some solace in the official confirmation of a hack that unlocks the iPhone 4. While European handsets ship unlocked by default, the US ones so far could not be used outside of AT&T's reach.

The new basebands on which the iPhone 4 operates meant the entire ultrasn0w unlocking software had to be started from scratch. The fine gents from the iPhone Dev Team have managed to do just that - their tweets mention a software unlocked iPhone 4 up in Canada. Judging from the pictures and video below, Apple's finest has indeed allowed Bell Canada's signal to pierce through its steel-and-glass armor.

The Iphone 4 needs to let the creators of jailbreak, fix the software issues.

LOL I thought the same thing....and IF it ever happens ( Steve Jobs eat crow....thats like Bill Gates admitting he owns a Mac ), I am certain a lot of these apple zombies will still defend it and buy the iphone 5.....which WONT be LTE or 4G. PS I gave you a positive remark since you were in the negative already due to a Crapple Victim.

heh thanks. Yeah well I must admit that before that iPhone 4 fiasco I was also a blind apple fanboy. But now I came to realize that no company is perfect. And I am most certainly against people just blindly following a product or a company. Apple is a good company which recently made a lot of apparently bad moves. No point in defending a ship with a gaping hole in it. First let the ship Captain fill up that hole - then you can start sailing on it again. If you hold it correctly.

I'm with ilia 1986 I thought the same things damm!!!! I read on the newspaper that people can star now suing Apple and AT&T for monopolistic practices regarding the use of the iphone exclusivity on AT&T.
