The screen in the picture is said to be in the range of 5.5-inches to 5.7-inches. That would make it much larger than the 5-inch glass on the Xiaomi Mi4, which the phone in the photo resembles otherwise. A photo of the Xiaomi Mi5 in white had earlier been leaked, revealing the front-facing camera, the light sensor, razor thin side bezels and the Mi logo that we can't see on the leaked image of the black model.
The Xiaomi Mi5 is expected to feature the aforementioned 5.5-inch to 5.7-inch glass with resolution of 1440 x 2560. A 64-bit Snapdragon 810 CPU will be under the hood with 3GB of RAM on board. A 20.7MP rear snapper is rumored to be adorning the back of the phone. And there could be a limited edition model with a sapphire screen. Earlier reports suggested that Xiaomi will produce 50,000 units of this limited model.
Next week, CES will open and we could learn all about the next flagship model coming from one of mobile's hottest names at the moment. In the meantime you can view a pair of leaked Xiaomi Mi5 photos by clicking on the slideshow below.
