If Apple want to keep their margins similar across devices, they will have to sell this at $300-$350. Since their cheapest new iPod Touch is $299, I'm going to guess that a 7" device will sell starting at $350. They will sell a lot of these, but I think it will hurt new iPad sales more than inexpensive android tablets as the cost differential is pretty large and lots more people looking for a content consumption device who would have "settled" for an New iPad, will buy the mini instead.

This is a shameless sales pitch for ipad mini with wrong facts to justify that (like Android tablets does not have enough apps, or magazines or other content that could entertain users). How long are you going to bury your head in the sand ?

It will only sell because its a Apple product these people don't know that everytime Apple makes a new model still looks the same as the previous ones. same shape structure and a few inches off the size. What this thing can't beat is a 199-249$ price tag. My guess it will be 399$ why buy this when u can buy a ipad 2 for 399$ it's kinda stupid that these apple ifans DON'T REALIZE it's the same damn thing just a half jumbo size ipod touch.

I will stick to my kindle fire as long as I need flash. Flash is not going away anytime soon.

If it is $250 or less, kiss them all goodbye. It will launch as the most powerful mobile gaming device, with AT LEAST the PowerVR SGX543MP4, it will have a great screen, and it will destroy the other 7" tabs in build quality. It's a "can't miss."
