Is solar charging coming soon to Nokia Lumia handsets?

Twisting the words from George Harrison's masterpiece "Here Comes the Sun", Nokia's Facebook page shows a picture of a Nokia handset with the caption, "Sun, sun, sun, here we come!," and the speculation is that the Finnish based manufacturer is letting us know that solar charging is coming to the Nokia Lumia line of Windows Phone 8 models...

i think this is not a good idea. we know batteries and other internal components don't do well with constant exposure to heat.

we have expensive solar garden lights that don't last a long time with their batteries quickly degraded by the constant exposure to the elements.

I am not positive about " green and cheap way to power up smartphones" yet, but it is the absolutely nice feature for those who are out of charging points in really remote areas. 20 years ago I use to walk traveling in the mountains for 3 weeks, so where I would charge my phone, if I had it?

Yup...but before you go and give credit to Nokia, try and give some praise to the French company that is actually developing this and trying to bring it to market.

would be sweet if they release it on android. Microsoft hardly have any apps
