What is your relationship to the VZW as far as employment is concerned? Are you being an ass or for real?

Well ladies and gent's those of you waiting for a iphone from VZW keep waiting From what Ive been able to find out are two different thing's First that VZW will release the iphone sometime in 10, That was about four months ago from a buddy who's a manager for VZW. Second of which I heard today that VZW will not be offering the iphone and will be going with the google phone instead an android either htc or moto. Apple does not want to release control of the iphone and will not Verizon wants to be able to support there customers, and have to send there customers to a apple store for support on there phone, and frankly I wouldn't buy a iphone if I had to go somewhere else for support The hook of the iphone is all the apps, and they don't want to loose control of that, that there afraid that VZW will want to make them and Vcast. Well BB didn't have to and vcast music can be added if I want . Without all those apps the iphone is no better than a cricket phone. I like others commenting before me have said they prefer a real high end phone and so do I.

Verizon and AT&T are both going to deploy LTE technology for their 4G network. It makes sense that Apple would develop a LTE iPhone. Even if only AT&T can sell it retail, there is a good chance it will be able to utilize the Verizon network as well. The device won't even need CDMA technology, as Verizon's LTE network is supposed to handle data, and voice. Then again this is all speculation pieced together from various articles.

Verizon's LTE network will be used for data only. The LTE Consortium just agreed on using the legacy CDMA networks to route voice until a VOIP can be developed in 4G LTE networks. The latter is still more than a year away.

" CDMA version of the iPhone on Big Red's 4G LTE network." What 4G LTE network?? Verizon's LTE is still in a very nascent stage, they even confirmed that only 30 markets will be live at some point in 2010 and the priority will be to sell data cards. For the IPhone to perform in a feasible manner, it would have to be a true hybrid phone able to do both 3G and 4G, so customesr could roam freely around the US and not suffer drop calls/ data outages. I truly think this is a smoke screen to gather some momentum for LTE which at this moment has no footprint in the US. WIMAX which avergaes 3-6mps is already available in some cities and by late next year in 80 markets. I say build an all new IPhone with a 4G WIMAX chip that can also handle CDMA 3G, put it on the Sprint Network which has 40 million less customers (less hog) and watch that puppy run as smooth as butter...

Who really Cares now honestly! Nothing last forever it's all gonna be about Android anyway so what does it really matter. And as for 4g woop dee do if there ain't no 4g towers anywhere you still be usuing 3g network and below. 4g is only activately in use in eroupe so 4g ain't really a big deal.
