Is LG´s second handset with Windows Phone 7 Series real?

A picture has appeared on the Internet and supposedly it reveals LG´s second cell phone to run WP7S, but it´s possible this is a rendering by an eager fan...

the GW990 is behind the times? LG is just in a different mind frame when it comes to phones. They cater the casual/ casual business oriented consumers. I'm just hoping that black isn't going to be the status quo for 7 Series. I've been hearing and reading how brand identity is going to be affected monsterously when it comes to this OS, just because Microsoft is seriously enforcing the specifications for WP7s. Color customization, I think, is going to be the only thing that will help out that situation, at least in the short term.

im with you @jedi2000 this looks pretty sleek... but at least lg is tapping into the smartphone game.... two late players merge as one ... microsoft and lg.... wheres word of the sanyo smartphones? they are one of the best cell phone manufacturers as far as stability, signal strength and sound quality...

They pretty much have to since they've lost Android OS to Samsung in Korea...unless Palm is lending WebOS to other manufacture>>now that's an idea to revive Palm

Windows 7 HD3, or a TP3 will kill most things out there if they are done right for Win7

I think LG is smart to jump into wp7s headfirst. WinMo hasnt been the most popular OS and i think this OS will definitely be a game changer and LG will be smart to invest in it early on. off topic i know, but the one thing i hope out of wp7s is that samsung won't butcher it with it's horrid touch wiz interface.

It is just a WP7 render image pasted onto a Samsung i8910!!! Just look at the left side... They did not even bother in disguising the silver frame... And the LG logo is ridiculously small.
