The newly launched model is on the top of the country's smartphone sales charts, outselling the Apple iPhone 5s The bite-sized model sports the same Snapdragon 800 chip and 20.7MP rear-facing camera as used on the Xperia Z1...

Be very disappointed if Sony stop playing favorites for exclusives and put this baby on every carrier

I would definitely buy one if Verizon carried it, so I couldn't agree more.

I like quality build of Sony smartphones but imho I feel like if the Z, Z1 & Z1f weren't IP58 certified they'd be more appealing to me. Something like the display, when you turn it off axis, you'll notice how color reproduction looks a little washed out but anyway keep them coming Sony!

That's true if they didn't focus on the waterproof and etc it probably would be a excellent phone. But it hope they don't put the screen protector on the mini like they did it's older brother. Hopefully they bring another xperia without the ip certified stuff then they would be selling and make it for all carriers in the US

I think the IP certification is a very important feature for any electronic devices.
Because the IP certification can prevent/reduce the possibility of damage caused by water and dust, but the best thing is your smartphone can be available for you at all time and at any places.
Until now I have never seen any Z1f with bad viewing angles but if you've ever seen Z1f with bad viewing angles show it to me please!
However I really want the international version of Z1f uses WhiteMagic display.

Sony is always targeting Japan for their phones and ~90% of the Japanese had waterproof phones (they like singing in the shower lol), waterproof flagships are a logical choice for attracting waterproof flip-phone users.

If Apple had the right to "SUE" any OEM, this is it... Sony's Z1f looks more like the iphone than any phone that Samsung ever made, IMO. Way to go Sony, since HTC isn't using the "Quietly Brilliant" quote anymore, maybe they should steal that also.

LOL, you just made my day with your foolish comment.
Just do a small research about the source of iPhone. Sony's productions were the source of inspiration for iPhone design.
Now tell me who must be sued?
