ok guys i tried 11 times!!!! no luck!!! they were not very nice!! i told them to go on here and see how many people did get one! they said someone did something the shouldnt have done... i said well than do it one more time for me!!! i have 10 lines with you and they said...... no!!!!! i was even nice the first 8 times!!!

Wow, I ordered mine for $150 after new every two and instant $50 rebate. My advise is be polite and ask if there is "anyway" you can get it. After 2 minutes of hearing "its not available yet sir" she finally tried to order and surprised herself, now whether she was supposed to until 6/26 thats between her and her supervisor.

I was able to order one today 4:30 EST by calling 611 from my phone with a michigan shipping address

As a representative of HOFO let me tell you that it may take dozens of phone calls to get the phone but if you are determined you will succeed. Check the HOFO LG DARE thread for pictures from me and other members who get the phone tomorrow.

I tried a few times and was told by the sales rep that they shouldn't be selling that phone until the 26th. The supervisor told me that they shouldn't even be talking about that phone through telesales until the 26th. I'm just going to wait until Thursday. Cause after reading your guys comments, alot of you need to get a life. No offense but it's a phone that will go on sale a few months after it's out and then everyone will have one. It's a cool phone and all but Damn people, you guys need to relax. I'm as big a tech guy, geek, nerd or whatever you want to call it. But it's not the end of the world if you have to wait a couple more days.

My phone has been falling apart as well. I had the original chocolate but i refused to pay $50 for a new stronger battery when i knew my contract was going to be up in a few months and i can upgrade. I had to reactivate my LG VX6000 to use while i waited for the Dare. And the LG VX6000 is 5 years old and discontinued and is very technologically past it's prime. I was going to get a voyager but i wasn't sold on it so the Dare came out just at the perfect time. Just like the Chocolate did for me 2 years ago when my contract was up then. Like i said i want one just as bad as the rest of you guys on here. But if i've been waiting for months to get this phone, 2 more days isn't going to make much of a difference. I would rather do that then harass Verizon by calling them 10 times a day to try and get someone to sell me the phone. I just hope for me and for all you guys out there who get this phone is that it lives up to our expectations.

There is nothing wrong with getting things early. I'm not the one making such a big deal out of it, you are. I'm just saying if you try to get one early and they don't sell it to you. Don't keep calling Verizon over and over to get one. Because whether you get one today or the 26th by this time next week we will all be enjoying our Dare

APPARENTLY THE BLUETOOTH IS NOT CRIPPLED !!!!!! ALSO ANOTHER CRIPPLED FEATURE THAT HAS BEEN UNCRIPPLED???...UHH ANYWAYS YOU CAN NOW HAVE RINGTONES FROM YOUR MUSIC LIBRARY INSTEAD OF HAVING TO BUY THEM FROM VZW STORE, WHIXH IS PRETY SWEET

I don't know if I wanna cough up $15 every month for web usage. I barely ever use it. Just check my emails sometimes and weather such as a radar. I liked when their web was more realistically priced $5 as my current plan for my reflashed v3m :-) The sad thing is that we do not have EVDO coverage around here even though the city is pretty big and paying $15 for slow as molasses web is not too amusing to me. They need to freaking give me a discount!

I really hope all of the above posters stay true to their word and post some pics and videos when they get this phone. I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to the dare. I'd love to hear how fast the net is too. :)
