I just finished placing my order for the Dare as well. I just called up and spoke with a customer service rep and she took care of everything and placed my order in under 15 minutes. She said it should arrive by Thursday and my credit card has already had the charge placed against it. Can't wait to get this phone, my first new phone since the original Razr!

I, along with a ton of folks on HoFo, ordered the phone thru telesales this afternoon. Called them up, said I knew it was available, she came back in a minute and said, Okay lets process your order. Only downside was I didnt press them for instant rebate, getting the MIR instead. Friday at the latest for shipping standard (didnt even ask about overnight)

you people did not pre order this phone lg dare there is no way in hell u did!!! u might be getting a call back on thurs to order it but its not in the mail as of now!!! i work for the telesales dept!!! in managment that all u need to know.. we are not taking orders no exceptions!!! u will wait for the 26th like veryone else

I thought I saw this thing with QWERTY keyboard. I hope it has it otherwise it's going to suck big time I hate tat T9 garbage. I want this phone now I have been waiting for this phone forever! Did anybody order one recently? Can I call them now or is it late in the day?

it has an accelerometer, so when you rotate the phone sideways, it will display a full qwerty keyboard

YES!!! It does have QWERTY!!! I just saw it on Verizon's site demo! I am so getting this baby :-)
