I was able to order it through 611 on my first try. The rep didn't know it existed but after he checked he found it in the system. Will be here (Nashville, TN) by Friday, and my credit card's already been charged. Happy ordering :)

There IS a qwerty, you just have to rotate the phone to its side, while messaging and the keyboard automatically switches.

I ordered mine successfully via 611 on my VZW handset. The rep acted as she knew that it was not to be sold til Thursday, but I chimed in and said a couple of my friends had already ordered it. She got my credit card info, and that was that. I opted for the 2-Day shipping as the order was placed after 12 noon, and overnight would reach me in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday as would the 2-Day.

Ordered thru 611. Had to give guy the sku # and he finally found it. I am in VA and it will be here Thursday. $249 - $100NE2 - $50 coupon that came in mail - $50 MIR = $49 + tax.

Just got mine ordered on the 4th try...I'm in MA. Was quick and easy...under 10 min. CSR checked his system and said it didn't show any in stock for this area, but that he'd see if it would go through anyway, which it did. Was never even put on hold. He said I'd have it tomorrow by 10:30am. Dare + MA sales tax = $430.49 + $14.99 overnight shipping = $445.48 Of course, the $50 mail-in rebate brings that down to $395.48 Hopefully I can at least get back what I paid for my Glyde when I put that nightmare up on eBay...should help soften the blow a little. So excited about my Dare!
