With Facebook looking to monetize Instagram, we told you earlier this month to start expecting to see ads soon on the picture-sharing social network; at the time, Instagram said that the ads would start with high-quality pictures from a small number of brands that already use the Instagram site. I doubt Facebook will make money off Instagram ever. Before they get to that point, Im sure the site will have outlived its popularity and usefulness.

Its already dying because of new things like Vine.

Vine happened before Instagram. I don't think that can be considered new.

How about providing a better user experience? Poor quality pictures and filters, nearly no interface to use, instagram is nothing more than a low quality storage website, i doesn't make sense anymore. The phone cameras have come a long way in the past few years with some of them producing really high quality pictures, that could be posted on proper photography websites like flickr.

i read up to user experience and stopped ... this isnt apple ... its facebook.
