Apple opened the 2014 WWDC with a massive keynote where it showed the world its brand new iOS 8 and Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite, and it was evident that the executives on stage…

This is what apple think and ifo0ls think... in reality some features are good and only some are good because there are only some, not much... same like my feature phone

Reminds me of the adage "He who knows, does not speak. He who speaks, does not know". They literally have to throw those words out to engrain them into the heads of others because their products do not naturally inspire those feelings.

My favorite part is when he says "you know how many people at home are saying what's he taking about". Because we did say that about the lies and the so called huge amazing looks of a transparent widget bar or anything else they said.

This article would seem to elicit the response 'no s*** sherlock'. To be honest, I don't give a hoot how Apple describes their own products because I'm an informed consumer who can decide for himself whether something is 'great' or 'wonderful'.

And all tech companies use praising words on their products. It's more than natural.

No need for the trolling comment. 6000 people sat there and watched Apple unveil a whole slew of updates to the iOS and OSX platforms.

You mean the 9% of Android users who are ACTUALLY using the featuers from 2014? Cuz more than 90% of Android users are on 2010 version of Android LOL and Kitkat doesn't even run well on older android phones from 2 years ago. hahahaha

Man these 6000 foolish people include most of the people who made the apps that you are currently using on your phone. so stop this stupidity and start thinking right. Don't the Gold Edition S5 and Finger Print Scanner on a Flagship remind you of another phone ? Why after the 5s was released this happened? I'm not defending Apple but when we say it's competition then we have to apply it to both sides... if iOS 8 didn't get brand new features ... Google won't move there asses to build up a better ecosystem... I have a Note 3 and an M8 and the way Data sync between them is terrible so is Quick Reply in some Apps ... Please start thinking well and get over being a Fanboy

lmao. Many companies have gold edition, brown, blue, red and also fingerprints so, go to h*ll. I own a Galaxy S5 Gold Edition. and h*ll no it doesn't remind me of any feature phone. In fact nothing resembles the iFeaturePhone. My S5 is also IP67, 4K, Better FHD, Sharper Screen, Multi-Window, IR Blaster, Toolkit, Replaceable Battery, Micro-SD, Super AMOLED, Amazing Camera With Amazing Features, Better Battery Life, USB 3.0 and MUCH MORE. Glad your iFeaturePhone has apps and opens facebook, other than that it's a meaningless iCr@p. your name says it all about what you have and what you own. lmao #FreakinDinosaur #AppleIsSo2010 #GladYouGuysHaveWidgetsNow.

25. The13thKing (banned) (Posts: 849; Member since: 26 Feb 2014)
yes bro that's true. we barely use those features these days.
29. iGeek (Posts: 171; Member since: 15 Mar 2013)
I hope you saw my new reply. Don't be a child ... be a Geek and no your S2 doesn't have better features don't try to convince yourself with this .. I own a Note 3 and an M8 both running 4.4.2 which put your S2 to shame and I have to say that I'm jealous of the way Apple implemented it's features
47. givemespecs (unregistered)
oooohhhh you are such a hater! Have you even tried using an iPhone 5S for a couple of weeks?
No...I didn't think so, that's why you always be blinkered. I've tried them all. I currently have a LG G2 and a 5S and I'm using the 5S.
I love the G2 as a device (despite it's squeeky back), but the 5S user experience is just so much better. It's more refined and less fragmented. I don't say wow or ooohhh; I just appreciate my 5S for what it is....a great device with great software.
50. PBXtech (Posts: 1032; Member since: 21 Oct 2013)
i have a G2 as well, what do you consider fragmented about it? Curious to what a different user is seeing, everything I use it for works fine.

28. iGeek (Posts: 171; Member since: 15 Mar 2013)
First of all I don't own an iPhone I have a Note 3 and an M8, I mentioned this in my reply but it seems you didn't read what I wrote carefully and you are just a blind fan boy who wanna argue.
Before the iPhone 5s no SMARTPHONE had a golden edition color, and it seems odd that after the introduction of the 5s all major Android manufacturers started releasing golden phones.... regarding the fingerprint scanner only the Motorola Atrix had a fingerprint scanner which wasn't incorporated into the home button just like the 5s and it didn't work that we'll, but after the 5s. Samsung decided it should put a fingerprint scanner in the home screen. Oh WOW coincidence !!
I have a Note 3 running VN ROM with GS5 theme. And I know that Android copied many features from iOS especially in its beginnings, it improved some but the majority were copy and paste.
I didn't say your S5 isn't amazing but we both know that our AMOLED display over saturates colors and has lower color accuracy than the iPhone's LCD, we both know that we rarely use multiwindow, we both know that we rarely use the Stupid S features
At the same time we both know that our phones take better photos than the iPhone and has better battery life, we both know that our phones are better for productivity and for tweaking and
But we should also say that iPhone apps are better due to the problems our developers face in supporting different screen sizes.
I've been an old member here and I changed my phone since then :)
I hope you get me now, we should be happy that Apple borrowed these features and made them better than Android's implementation. This could help in pushing Google to introduce better features in the next version of Android
I hope we are not faced with 4.4.4 this I/O.
I won't buy an iPhone 6 before watching what Samsung will do with the Note 4
We can't say that Apple is a copy cat cause that's not true at all cause all the world know that Samsung borrowed features from Apple too.
Let people choose what they want, what they like. Thank God we live in a free world. It's the person who is spending the money who decides which platform is better.
I hope you got me now and I hope you don't agree with calling the 6000 developers foolish cause among these are the developers who build the apps we use
31. farhad_per (banned) (Posts: 128; Member since: 26 Mar 2014)
You missed something....at first it was announced that samsung using fingerprint scanner in note 3..and because of reasons(low functionality and so on) it canceled...but iphone (ideas stoler)stold that idea and put it on iphone and you saw it was only used for unlocking. But in S5 you can use in many better ways and it's more functional such as PayPal..private mode..and of course unlocking.
43. iGeek (Posts: 171; Member since: 15 Mar 2013)
My God!!! Man for real ??? What kind of fan boy are you
The Note 3 was unveiled on September 4
The iPhone 5s was unveiled on September 10
In 6 days Apple stole the idea tested it and provided customers with it while Samsung who was working before on it didn't make it into the Note 3
Which kind of logic you use ? It needs a update :)
57. engineer-1701d (Posts: 2938; Member since: 13 Mar 2014)
Actually it was rumored and leaked at the beginning of the year 2 months before s4 came like the iris scanner, Apple took parallax display from HTC evo 3d

Strange, I also have a Note 3 and an M8.....

Uh, Nokia had gold-colored (and actual GOLD for some!) phones and smartphones years ago, and looked like gold, not the "champagne" color. Remember, apple innovates little to nothing, just rehashes old ideas as their own.
44. iGeek (Posts: 171; Member since: 15 Mar 2013)
Tell me the name of the Golden Color SMARTPHONE before the iPhone 5s which wasn't limited edition :)
Don't talk about PHONES okay ?

lmao I read your full comment and I read carefully as I read very carefully haters and l0sers comments to perfect the act of trolling their heads. as for the last comment I stopped at half, and yeah you don't know what a Samsung is. your name says it iGeek, and the way you mock Samsung features and Super AMOLED. Multi-window? rarely? really? lmaooo if I could fetch older comments of mine to show how much I've talked about it, and I use it hourly. It doesn't matter what your grandpa did, what matters is what you are doing now. I owned 2 iPhones when apple was at it's best and nokia dying while Samsung was young, iphone 3gs and iphone 4, then switched to a Galaxy S2 and noticed the helluva difference. Gingerbread was way above iOS and it's still is now, sadly. who cares if at it's beginning google copied apple/nokia/blackberry? the funny thing now is that they're all copying GOOGLE and playing catch up as it's funny to search about "Android Market Share" to see who's the best out there. about AMOLEDs? these are a helluva displays, and I love how punchy and young coulours look while compared to a washed out LCD. and you know there's no match to the GS5's screen. Glad you guys have widgets. lmao 3rd party keyboards haven't use those since Gingerbread. borrowed? are you sure? ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU MENTIONED AS COPYING.
Go to hell iF@rt. Enjoy your Feature Phone.

Very balanced review. I like that. The truth is all the phones have good and bad things for everyone cuz we all like different things. Some dudes love fat girls, some love skinny girls.
78. Ashoaib (Posts: 3125; Member since: 15 Nov 2013)
Oh come on igeek or ifreak... stop trying so hard to tell us the wonderfulness of apple... we know that apple is just a hype... i owned 4 & 4s, I know what an over rated iphone is... iphone is nothing but just a normal phone with over hype and over price
37. shuaibhere (Posts: 1973; Member since: 07 Jul 2012)
But it's okay to sue others over features like "slide to unlock"???
What if google copied from apple???
Apple would've already filed a case against google....
And fingerprint scanner and gold colours aren't invention of apple....
45. iGeek (Posts: 171; Member since: 15 Mar 2013)
Who is telling Google not to sue Apple ?
If Google didn't do something then it's Apple's problem
Good Analysis ... You deserve a Medal
Apple made Gold Color and Fingerprint scanner mainstream you like it or not :)
53. The13thKing (banned) (Posts: 849; Member since: 26 Feb 2014)
lmaoooo. get off here iFan. And Google made innovation mainstream so apple can desperately copy. #FreakinDinosaurs #AppleIsForOldPeople
59. engineer-1701d (Posts: 2938; Member since: 13 Mar 2014)
Not the finger print scanner it was main stream before that with the Moto and hp laptops, etc. Apple made one phone they had a Champaign color not gold they would be sued for that that's why they only ever called it Champaign. Main stream means put in mass production that would make Moto first
54. tedkord (Posts: 8998; Member since: 17 Jun 2009)
Samsung had gold phones long before the iPhone was even announced. And you're accusing Samsung of stealing the fingerprint scanner idea that Apple stole from Motorola?

I think that apple is a feature phone company that has finally got to 2011 and I also think that iPhone@rena is spamming us with articles about widgets, keyboards and failure to innovate instead of focusing on all the innovations and things going on in the advanced android world. #AppleIsSo2010 #FreakinDinosaurs.
