Samsung Italy has published information regarding two upcoming updates for the Samsung OMNIA HD i8910, available on their Facebook page. The first is to come out next week and is expected to improve the overall performance of the handset. The second is to follow in two weeks and will replace the built-in codec, used for sound recording during HD video capture. The one in use now is AMR, but since it produces pretty bad results, it is to be changed with AAC.

Omnia HD is the best phone around to date. It is an allrounder and for me, the sound was the only minor issue. Its speed is fantastic, as can be confirmed by speedtests when compared to all other mobile phones. Im eager to update it with the new software upgrade, since having the fastest mobile phone even FASTER is AWSOME. Honestly, I cant understand certain reviews that I have read, that give a bad impression of this fantastic SAMSUNG OMNIA HD! Thanks Samsung for a great mobile phone!!!
