We at verizon will offer these phones once we have gone thru them and ensured all accessories are locked and require us to charge you for any and all options

Question 19: The curve isn't on the list, it's currently being tested. Execs in our already testing the device. There is no launch date. Our regional blackberry rep mentioned to us about touch screen blackberry that will be an exclusive for verizon. There is no release date on the 9xxx series Blackberry, or how long the exclusivity will run. Question 20: Verizon has not been hindering phones, we purchase the phones previously with out BT with OBEX, now most if not all new current models have had this capability. It's no different now than any other carrier. Services that are offered are solid and reliable and some of the best in the industry. If you can't afford it, then you can keep paying for your second best. You left the comment here. Your response is obviously un-educated and does not support any information to this site. Which is the main reason people come here. So please stop flooding threads with your unsupportive and unappreciated comments.

Verizon can do whatever they want, whenever they want with whatever they want. They are hands down the best wireless carrier out there (and no, I don't work for them). So keep your "great" phones and lousy service. I have personally liked every phone I've had with Verizon

I don't see any PDA smartphone of interest. I don't want a BB. I want something similiar to my Q in style (no, not the Q9C)....there is nothing coming down the pike. I don't need a flip open qwerty keypad either. HELP!

In response ot the Blackbery Curve. No matter what Blackberry comes out with, coler devices for other carrires, without good network to back up the features, its worthless. According to a Blackberry rep, VZWs' network is superior to all the others. Another example is the "I-Phone". What a joke on AT&T's network. The only way it is fast is if you are connected to Wi-Fi. The I-Phone on VZWs' CDMA would blow any other phone away. Apple dropped the ball by not co-operating with VZW.

anyone kno if the "LG CU915 VU" will be a verizon phone?

32. (unregistered) posted on 30 Apr 2008, 20:40

enV(2) looks really cool and im sure the glyde will be amazing.

33. bmoney (unregistered) posted on 02 May 2008, 09:21

@anonymous, "Apple dropped the ball" - except Apple offered the iPhone to VZW first, and VZW turned it down. At that point Jobs went to AT&T. You say the iPhone on CDMA would blow any other phone away, but you don't say which data network. Sure, on EVDO rev A it would be screaming, but if it were on 1x, CDMA's equivalent of the EDGE network iPhone is on, then it wouldn't be any faster. Now, the new 3G iPhone -- THAT will be screaming fast. Apple gave us a slower iPhone just to wet our whistle in anticipation for the faster one. And in June our patience shall be rewarded.

36. (unregistered) posted on 26 Jun 2008, 08:39

I'm a big fan of Verizon's network, but the phones are less impressive each year. I was very disappointed to hear the Samsung Omnia, which could have been the "iPhone killer" or at least competition, is also only going to be on AT&T. I have another year on my contract, so I hope they come out with some phones that compete. Otherwise I think I might make the switch.
