So where does your smartphone go at night to recharge the batteries while you're in bed recharging your mind and body? The answer to that and a number of other interesting questions can be found in a new infographic that was just sent to us by the author. It is a fascinating look at smartphone usage. 32% admit to using their phone while driving, 36% use their handset while dining out, and 61% are fiddling with their device while watching television...

I must admit I am one of the 75% who bring their mobile device to the bathroom. Toilet time is the best time! Heck, that's where I do most of my reading. 10% bathroom use. 90% phone time lol.

Well, people used to take books and newspapers with them to the bathroom, now the trend has simply shifted to the mobile device since that's what has become the primary device for many, for reading, movies, gaming, etc.. I don't personally take the phone to the bathroom (nor have I taken books or newspapers in my 25 years of living), but it isn't really a surprise or cringe-worthy IMO.

I like the part where you can take photo of your mugger after you are mugged. It makes perfect sense that if you are using a smartphone, your mugger will not take it!

I am one of the 15% that doesn't bring their phone into the bathroom (and also surprised at the 75% lol, but no judging). I also use the S-Pen for basically everything (texting via swyping, games, e-mails, etc.) so no fingerprints/oil/grease/w.e and hopefully lessening the germs on the screen as I still tend to wipe it often (i might be stuck with the s-pens and the galaxy note line, it's almost like my new finger for mobile screens). I might be falling under the 4th category on the last slide though. My eye stings a lot even though I've significantly reduced the amount of time I spend in front of screens. I'm going to become blind! *panic*
