Individuals on T-Mobile can no longer charge the upgrade fee to their accounts

Starting tomorrow, T-Mobile starts collecting the upgrade fee for changing your phone right away, instead of charging it to the customer's account...

bah, when u get it in store, you always had to pay the upgrade fee up front. no big deal

Verizon doesn't charge upgrade fees unless you do an early upgrade. Meaning you upgrade before you are eligible.
