These phones are all over China for the same price and have even more features than this phone has....India is slow on the draw! checkout cheapandroid.com they have exact clones of SGSIII and other popular smartphones from $180-$200 with 3G 8mp camera and running real Jelly bean 4.1

most of the Chinese makes dont offer warranty but the above ones have .. so may be thats why u see the downside in hardware for the similar prices.. just an opinion..

don't compare it with terrible china phones. Micromax has a good brand recognition and good after sales service. Its fair to compare it with zte. Its has powervr sgx531 gpu and It's benchmark results too are impressive and on par with novathor chipset running phones.

that is total BS. I have bought 3 phones from 3 different companies from China.. They were for gifts.
They all work great. Great specs. MTK 6577 cpu, GPS, BT, wifi, same cameras as described here, free shipping Android 4, FM radio, TV tuner dual SIM, 512MB RAM, 4GM ROM, great screen. What else?
They have dozens of companies making phones so it is very competitive.
Any size and any budget Easily "rooted"

We are going to find out just how big the "Phablet" market is. Samsung hit a homerun with the Note, and now HTC is coming out with one, this Micromax is, and by 2013 I expect several other manufacturers will. Wonder if there is enough interest to support more than a couple, or if maybe 5" phones are the next big thing. (Pun, of course, completely intended).

It just looks good on paper... A90's SuperAmoled is 262k and A100's processor is single core not dual-core. And bluetooth offered is v2.1
Micromax never clarify proper specs. It has 1600mAh battery yet talktime is just 5hrs told by company.
Something big(fraud) is going under its body.

A100 is single core. Actually it has created a mess. Some are claiming its dual core and some are claiming its single core.
Once I had my hands-on with this device then I can confirm till then check below link. It says A100 is single core:

You can check hands-on video by iGyaan.com too. It too says its single core:
