Boo. Everyone gets excited about in app purchases. The only ones that should are devs as a consumer I have always frowned on microtransactions and dlc. Sure sometimes you get an expansion that serves better as dlc than a full sequel but many times you get games rushed out early because levels can be added later for more Money.

That said...i hope in app purchasing for games lives up to the standard that Xbox live on consoles has set. Don't nickel and dime me for outfits. Don't give me unlockable levels that should be in the game already like "free" IOS titles. Start to give me real games like nova and release map packs for them. Extra characters, new levels(on top of full fledged levels in full fledged games).

Yeah I know I said im philosophically against these things, but they're inevitable. So of they're gonna happen then do them right. And live up to the standards the have been set by Xbox live on home consoles. Don't treat the mobile games less than just because they're mobile.
