The imo.im website is probably the most popular destination for those who have Facebook or Skype blocked at work…

IMO.IM and its android messenger app where once my favorite app!

Sadly, they cut away what I liked about the service :(

I use 2 main accounts, one for REAL LIFE / WORK / ECT, and one for anything I do concerning gaming.
Both the website and the android app USED to allow multiple master/sub account login's, sadly, about 6-8~ months ago, they nuked that ability, so no longer could I keep my RL/Gaming identity's apart... Then about 2 months after I get an eMail from them about my Gaming account saying because it doesnt have a REAL name attached to it, it was being disabled! (PRO!)

So, Naturally, I went over to Trillian...

I honestly would have paid for the service or app that IMO.IM provided, but they never offered it as an option, and customer service NEVER replied to any of my queries (about 15 of them before I left), It WAS a better web interface AND android app in every way, then they nuked once of the main reasons why I liked it...

Well played IMO.IM, well played!

Told you so! It's a matter of very short time, and all of your Android apps will have tablet optimized versions, or they will fall behind competition and you'll switch to those.

"Recently, it got its own Android application and now that has been optimized to look good on Android tablets..."

Do you mean it was recently optimized for tablets? Imo's had an Android app for a while now. I still have it on my old Droid Eris in a drawer somewhere from a couple years ago.
