Yea, maybe VZW is getting the hint that it's UI is poorly designed, its about time.

sources say that it is still basically the VZW UI. only the homescreen looks like TouchWiz UI, but once you get deeper into the interface, it's back to a variant of the VZW UI. however, the source had good things to say about the UI, that it's much improved.

Even if that was factual VZW UI is made to match manufacture specs and customer demands at the same time. If you let every manufacturer make thier own UI for Non PDA phones how many different support lines would VZW need to answer every backdoor question to every UI ever made, or would you prefer to dial 611 and be transferred from VZW straight to the manufacturer, who's customer service is completely shady and over packed with 15 minute hold times...if your so tired of "the man" sticking it to you, maybe you should get a Blackberry or Smart-phone instead....you know what they say "beggars can't be choosers", and our looking pretty desperate with your hand out right now...
