Might work. The entire problem that touchscreen gaming faces, is the on screen controls. Without physical D-pad and buttons its very hard to maintain your thumbs in the correct positions. Most games rely on millisecond reaction times, any struggle or slip off causes gaming frustration. Bluetooth or usb connected controllers are the only have to go on platform gaming. If the stickers give enough raise surface to be able to feel were your thumbs are, it may work.
