I-mate Intelegent phone to shoehorn Windows 8 on a 4.7" screen for $750, dock in tow

With a 4.7" 1280x768 pixels HD screen, Intel Atom processor inside, 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage, and an 8 MP camera, it will certainly be a very interesting proposition, be it only to see how i-mate solved the puzzle to fit the Win 8 interface on display of this size...

Awesome!! A fully productive smartphone (more than a smartphone). I was waiting for this to happen :) Good news for me.
Now I just want Nokia to make W8 phones.

totally agree, a Nokia windows 8 phablet @ 6 inches with an intel processor, same one used for windows 8, now THAT is a true laptop replacement. This will be very interesting to see if Nokia will be putting a Windows 8 based UI on their phablet, I would instantly get this over the Note 3 or Togari if flash is supported too.

I was aware of that, I was pointing out from a hypothetical point of view that if Nokia do proceed with a windows 8 phablet, will it be a 6 plus inch device capable of running windows 8 as opposed to wp8? They did mention that it would be more powerful than the Note, although if referring to the original Note, that's not going to be a hard task to fulfil.

Well...good effort...but 4.7" display size is not really good for any productive task...screen should be at least 5.5"-6"...and then I will perhaps sell my mobile and laptop and buy this thing :)

I dont think that windows 8 has been optimized for 4.7 inch screens...it'll be interesting to see what happens

This Sounds Awesome!
I just have Some Questions. Will this be Upgradeable from Windows 8 Pro to Windows 9 Pro or even to Windows 10 Pro?
Will We be able to Install or Run Programs to and from the MicroSD Card or from any other Device that Might be Able to Connect Physically to it? Like a Flash Drive or a Friends Computer that Don't have the Dock to connect it to.
And that is the second part of the Second Question. Can you Connect Anything to the Phone through the USB Connector like a CD/DVD Drive, USB Drive, External Hard Drive, or to another Computer to Swap Files with or to Install stuff either on the Phone or to the Computer from the Phone?
The next Question is that the Phone Will be Released with Both CDMA & GSM Radio's inside, but what about LTE. Will the Phone Have LTE that's Compatible With All of the LTE Standards that the Carriers Are Using Now and Will Be using in the Near Future?
Also, a Lot of Computer come with a Whole Bunch of Crapware and a Bunch of Cellphones come with a Whole Bunch of Bloatware. So the Question is; Will this Phone with Windows 8 Pro have ANY CRAPWARE or BLOATWARE?

These guys don't have a very good track record and had to shut down in 2009 after claims by Mr. Morrison of fraud by a board member. I'll believe it when I can buy one.

Nope, probably only work on AT&T or T-Mobile.
