lol That is funny. It's a slight poke at Apple fanboys. Beautifully done.

Just like their Patent Troll segment.
Strangely, I only got into Dilbert after going out into the working world.

I swear Scott Adams worked at the same major companies I have.

This is funny! I used to watch Dilbert for a while but it seemed to disappear of the air!
The thing is alot of crazed ifans already believe hype and rumours,we had a bunch of teenage girls instore recently trying asking when the new iphone will be available and have we seen the new holographic keyboard,i kid you not!! These ifans said the new iphone apparently has a holographic keyboard which can be projected out of the side of the phone.Of course we told them immediately this won't be so but we were told by them its true, they've seen it online and the next iphone is gonna be so cool.
Some days you don't know whether to have pity on these fans or just point and laugh!

Haha, I had a laugh. I've had my share of Apple users thinking that their phones are automatically superior than others. A quote "Your phone doesn't have an Apple logo on it. You don't exist" was actually said to me.

I would reply (if it were in public, not at the store as an employee) "Mine doesn't have an apple logo. I'm not an idiot. I'm not a slave to one compnay. I don't financially support companies that want to own your wallet and have little regards for the human rights and welfare of their suppliers and factory workers" but that's me

Yeah, people at school laugh at my GS2 and say, "It's not as good as an iPhone." And then I'll ask why, and all they say is, "Because it's not an iPhone." Like... What? They don't even have any factual statements to prove their claims... Then I start talking about mine having twice the RAM, the bigger and more vibrant SA+ display, and more open OS that lets me customize pretty much anything, and they just say "Whatever bro."
It's kind of sad...

My high school made iPads mandatory last year (Seniors didn't have to get them thank god). They allowed iPhones iPods and iPads to use the wifi and made using an android device a mortal sin (it was a catholic school). It was the dumbest thing. My favorite thing to do was to download files from the teachers' websites seconds (and in some cases minutes) before everyone else using 3G or the wifi. Or text bombing people using side loaded apps. I always made sure to update adobe flash using the wifi (quickly enough for no one to notice it was an android device).

I think that is the most retarded school policy I have ever heard.

I was caught using my phone by the network administrator and he was furious. To give a little background, before this Apple god policy came into effect, the penalty for being caught with a phone was turning the phone into the Prefect of discipline every morning for a week and picking it up after school. I had to have a talk with the prefect of discipline and the network administrator after school. I had to pick up trash durring lunch for a week. And my phone was searched (which is against school policy and in a legal grey area).

The Prefect of Discipline? That sounds... intimidating. And I just found the irony in the fact that this is a Catholic school and they have an Apple "God" policy... Ha. (: But anyways, that is really messed up. My school (private Christian school) doesn't discriminate against the OS your phone has, but they are obviously biased towards Apple.
Today, in English, we had to choose from about 6 topics to write about. One of them was "Though two cars may seem similar, they have distinctive differences." (we were only supposed to write 1 paragraph) And she went on to talk about how that may be interesting to guys, and I went on about how I'm more of a tech person, blah blah blah, and now I'm supposed to do a full essay on iOS vs. Android.
Yes, all of the teachers use iPhones, except for 2 of them, one of which is waiting for the new one to come out. Maybe this will open their eyes...

Gotta love dilbert. Wasnt a big fan of the cartoon but the comic strip have always been, good, solid business and tech humor.

Dilbert is an amazing comic strip. I don't read it enough, but I do know that Scott Adams actually pokes a lot of fun at the smartphone wars. He had a great one involving the magic dust Apple sprinkles on their products to make everyone want them.

I just want to copy and paste this comment from an article on BGR because it so perfectly fits this comic:
"The iPhone 4S was the most amazing iPhone yet!! Wake-the-f**k-up!!!
I am sick of you ppl!! It's a phone!! What do you want it to do?? FLY??
This next iPhone is gonna smoke the competition regardless of what all you haters say or complain about. Period. There isn't a single Android phone that can compare to the iPhone, simply because the OS sucks."
What's funny is most of us would think this is sarcasm. The sad sad reality is that this person is actually serious about their comment.

Well well well
Isn't it about the rumor reputation that Apple is gay design ?

Topper is excellent in other situations:
Dogbert joins in the patent wars:
Wally pulls an "Apple employee safeguarding a prototype" style oopsie:
The reality distortion field is real:

Dogbert introduces the iPhone to the company:

am i the only person who don't get it ?

Topper makes the iPhone out to be a product for elitist d**ks. Dilbert and Wally, not wanting to be associated with elitist d**ks, decide that they'd rather get Android as a result.
