Hulu Plus for Android has just received another update. This latest release adds support for 7” tablets, support for high-resolution screens, additional device support including Ice Cream Sandwich compatibility, the ability to sign up for a trial from within the app, and, of course, “various bug fixes and optimizations.”

On the tablet side, Hulu Plus can now be access from the Acer Iconia Tab A200, A500, A511, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Amazon Kindle Fire, Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet, HTC Flyer, LG G-Slate, Motorola Xoom, Motorola Droid Xyboard, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, Toshiba Thrive, and Vizio 8" Tablet.

Additionally it can installed directly from the Google Play store on the following smartphones: HTC Rezound, HTC Evo 3D, HTC Evo 4G, HTC Incredible 2, HTC Inspire 4G, HTC Sensation, HTC Thunderbolt, LG G2X, LG Revolution, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Bionic, Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid 3, Motorola Droid 4, Motorola Droid X, Motorola Droid X2, Motorola Droid RAZR, Nexus One, Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy SII, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, T-Mobile G2, and T-Mobile myTouch 4G.

it works on my Xyboard 8.2 and my Razr running ICS beautifully. Hulu is a much nicer app than Netflix but at least Netflix is on it when it comes to availability unlike Hulu.

i'm sorry, i meant device availability. i didn't mean to bring the actual service's content to question but for the record Hulu Plus has more Television Shows.

the app doesn't have ads but the playback has ad breaks. it's a shame since this is a paid service but we have to remember Hulu has expensive contracts.

Just popping to to say, that while I may not be able to download directly from the play store, Hulu Plus runs great on my Galaxy S 4G (T-Mob).

I have the adroid tablet ice cream sandwich 40 and you web page states it should work. I installed the huluplus app and it stated that it is hot able to play videos from there yet but they are working on it. Which is correct. Do I need to download an update for this tablet? Thank you
