Hulu Plus Android app updated for 9 more devices
Good news, Hulu fans, the Android app has been updated and is making the rounds to more devices. The app was updated today to reach version 1.0.139, which adds improved playback performance, but more importantly it brings compatibility for 9 new devices.

The new devices supported are 8 phones:

  • HTC Incredible 2
  • HTC EVO 3D
  • HTC Sensation
  • Motorola Droid 3
  • Motorola Bionic
  • Motorola X2
  • LG Revolution
  • LG G2x

And, one tablet:

  • HTC Flyer

We're hoping that pretty soon Hulu makes the jump like Netflix and becomes compatible with all 2.2+ devices, but so far it looks like we have to live with incremental updates that add a few devices at a time.

The Hulu Plus app is available for free in the Android Market.

yeah, it sucked upgrading from the Droid 2 to the Droid 3 and losing Hulu Plus support. i even sent them an email but now i'm just glad a few more of my phones support it.

it's such a nicer app than Netflix is too. Netflix has work to do to make an actual nice interface on Android devices.

This is so frustrating...I have a Motorola Photon and they do not support it yet. Every other Motorola just not mine c'mon time to step it up a bit!!!
