Huawei's goal is to be one of the top three global smartphone manufacturers

0. phoneArena 15 Apr 2013, 00:53 posted on

Chinese handset manufacturer Huawei couldn't cut it as a low cost producer and compete with white-box vendors, so instead the company turned its attention to becoming top tier manufacturer and this is apparently working out; in 2011 the company shifted from ODM to producing its own models and this has worked out for Huawei as 90% of the devices it made last year were for its own brand...

HTC or Sony should be in the top 3. Huawei would never be in the top 3 because its an unknow company and there phones are garbage.

Top 3 (Sales based) Its Samsung, Apple and Huawei at the moment. They already are #3 right now why does this article exist.

Apple is expected to be kicked out of there soon than HTC or Sony will take #3. Lets be honest here though, the iphone shouldn't even be considered a smartphone anymore.

Huawei is dishonest. They signed a contract with my company for installation of 600 sites in Sao Paulo, Brasil. Then they asked a discont of 3% for all these 600 sites. So we start installing the sites with the a.m. discount. Suddenly they stopped to purchase new installations when the quantity of sites reached 50! And never returned the discounts.

Be very carefully when working for Huawei, Sometimes is better not work for them at all.
