AND WHY NOT?
just because its chinese...? you realize what a comment like that makes you right?
Huawei has been busting a$$ and is the second largest telecom giant in the world providing infrastructure solutions to governments on nations worldwide. the huawei devices revenue is like a drop in an ocean for them yet they continue to work hard and bring out stellar devices to challenge the best in the android world!
I personally use a Note 2 and I like Sammy because they have produced the best in android but I call it as it is. if tomorrw huawei or any neew company can beat sammy or any of the other majore giants like Apple....then personal feelings aside they deserve the credit.
Reputation and brand value does not only have to be earned but also maintained and its good companies like Huawei, Lenovo and others are coming up and giving ta tough fight becaause the ultimate winner is the customer who ends up with even more amazing devices!

and oh yeah all that bullcrap about Huawei being a spy and all...that garbage talk...its childish people even consider that!

LMAO at you immediately pulling the racism card. There's no way he could've based his opinion on Huawei on the fact that their phones f*cking SUCk, right? Nah, he's a racist, that must be it.

I think they can do it. Random Chinese companies come up with hearty specs costing less than half of what you normally pay for. Why cant Huawei make it? Well, not now of course :L

they should not make it as a top seller if they can't prove that they are not partners in the communist espionage scheme.

i agree with the name. it's difficult to say and spell.

What? So guilty until proven innocent? There is still no hard proof that proves that they are guilty BTW.

Yeah huawei really sounds suspicious to anyone with no knowledge of them. I know the company but I would not dare part my hard earned money for huawei products.

Unfortunately, good hardware is worthless without a very good software AND updates!

It's a lesson that Samsung has learned very quickly, and that's why they are the largest player right now!

Users nowadays no longer are satisfied with good hardware without the latest updates.
And to clarify a misunderstanding:
It's not the fault of Samsung that carrier specific software releases arrive late.
It's the fault of the carriers who have specific requirements!

Huwaei has a very bad reputation where it comes to software updates.
I know from experience after I bought a Ideos S7 tablet which got stuck on Android 2.1
They never released any update for the device.

In short thats Huawei:
Try to sell a lot of hardware but never mind about customers or updates.

My advice: STAY AWAY from HUAWEI.

They can better use the next four years for the release of updates for their devices they sold over the last few years
Perhaps that would give them some credit with their future customers ;)

They are steadily improving each year, you'd be surprised how up to date their latest devices are, although they are less attractive at price point. Point is, they are taking pages out of Samsung's book on the support front and the bigger they get the more community stuff will come. My advice: don't judge on the past in the mobile world but on the present, because one year can make a huge difference.

huawei may have a chance of taking over the world if people can pronounce their brand name by minimum of 3 times without twisting their tongue..
