Huawei P9 Max specs appear on AnTuTu, revealing Kirin 950 SoC inside
Huawei has been churning out handsets big time this year. Recently, we've seen the Huawei Mate S, the Nexus 6P, the Huawei Mate 8 (expected to be unveiled on November 26th, and now the Huawei P9 Max. This is a high end device that has just gone through the AnTuTu benchmark site as the P9 50S. This phablet will carry a 6.2-inch glass, according to the specs released by AnTuTu. With a 1600 x 2560 resolution, the pixel density will be 486ppi.

The home grown Kirin 950 chipset, recently unveiled by Huawei, is under the hood, with a big.LITTLE octa-core CPU and the Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. 4GB of RAM is inside, along with 64GB of native storage.  Android 6.0 is pre-installed.

The P9 Max scored an impressive 73,759 on the AnTuTu benchmark test. The 3D graphics score was 16,822. Both scores were below those of the Meizu Pro 5. The latter had an overall score of 76,244, and a 3D graphics score of 23,393. That handset is powered by the Exynos 7420, which also features an octa-core CPU and has the Mali T-760 MP8 GPU.

Next stop should be a TENAA certification, which we are looking forward to because of the usual photographs, and the dissemination of the complete specs sheet.

Thanks for the tip!
