I don't think there is a reason to get this over the Fire tablet or the Nook tablet. Both are cheaper with similar specs.

how about for Play Store support over Amazon app store? I think that's a huge win. Youtube kids isn't available on the fire tablets along with many other things. Making this a good kids tablet.

both the fire and nook arent full pure android tablets...if i had to choose, i'd get the T3 7.0, but with that kind of specs, i wont LOL

I don't need flagship specs but can anyone release a decent small tablet these days? Seems they all have the absolute worst specs imaginable.

yah, something like 2gb/16gb/1280x800/quadcore should be the minimum...they need to get rid of the 1gb/8gb/1024x600 devices.

My thoughts exactly on what entry level specs should be, I feel this tablet would struggle to browse the web much less do anything useful.

I could understand needing something better for an adult, or even a teenager. But for a child, it's just fine. I'm thinking of picking one up for the kids, just something to use in the car on road trips. Especially at that price. They can play their games or watch netflix. It's perfect for that.
