There’s no arguing that we’ve been seeing our fair share of prepaid Android powered smartphones, but despite their inexpensive costs versus flat out buying postpaid smartphones, there is still a high premium price associated with some of them.
Luckily, if you happen to be a MetroPCS customer, you’ll be happy to know that the Huawei M835 just recently landed on the prepaid carrier’s lineup boasting an impressive brand spanking new price of $79.99 on the carrier’s web site. Granted that it might not be the flashiest thing and has some close ties to the equally affordable T-Mobile Comet, the Huawei M835 features a 2.8” QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Android 2.2 Froyo.
Usually retailing for $129 even, it’s selling for the money savings price of only $79.99 – no contracts are required to be signed off course. At less than the $100 price point, it’s indeed something remarkable and goes to show how much variety there is with the smartphone market nowadays.
