Introduced at CES, Huawei's first Windows Phone 8 model, the Huawei Ascend W1 is scheduled for Q1 release in Russia, China, India and some European countries, pricing was not revealed until now when it posted the phone for sale at a price of ¥ 1599.00 ($257.13 USD) for a phone with a 4 inch WVGA display, powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor...

I'll stick with Nokia myself, but these offerings certainly prove that WP8 is alive and growing! Fastest growing mobile OS in the world, to be more precise...

not too shabby on the price i'll buy it as a backup phone just in case something happens to the main one. also i REALLY dont see the W2 as being a sequel maybe a more beefed up version......like premium,flagship,highend whatever name we would like to give
