Huawei Ascend P2 specs leak, hint at 3000 mah battery

Powered by the same Hisilicon K3V2 quad-core processor that graces the flagship D2, the phone's screen is "mere" HD panel, yet with the large 5" size. The rest of the specs are listed as 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory plus a microSD slot, and a 13 MP rear camera. Not too shabby at all, and when we add a 3,000 mAh battery, things become even more appealing...

As good as a mid-ranger gets, Huawei has really stepped up this year, despite the lack of media buzz around them. I'd easily take the D2 over the Xperia Z and probably over the Oppo Find 5 (tough choice) due to larger battery, and the P2 has great specs to compete with... S2 Plus? S3 Mini? HTC VC? C'mon, beats them all.
Biggest problem is availability. By the time the top HW tabs and phones came out last year - in limited markets - others had better offerings. They must push these things out before the Galaxy S4 arrives.

I'd take the Xperia Z over any other smartphone currently available.

The team of Engadget for the CES event held this past week interviewed Huawei chairman Richard Yu personally. The later stated on their website: "Yu told us exclusively that at MWC next month, Huawei will be unveiling a super slim follow-up to the current P series Android phones. We asked if it'll be even thinner than 6.45mm (the thickness of the Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra announced at CES), and Yu said yes. The exec added that the new phone will have a beautiful metallic body as well."
so this leaked image and rumor ate probably true.
