that's really going to hurt them. the specs seem great but they will be going head to head with the android Mega brands. of course if they keep The specs high and the cost low it should still sell well

I might already have the one X or the S3 by then. They should release it now.

July is too far away. Galaxy S III and the HTC One X will take in all the sales.

if the price is alright i might buy one , with the current global economic crisis rising , Huawei might have the edge over the bigger expensive rivals

This will definitely hurt them, they needed to be to market way before the SGSIII or HTC One or iPhone 5 touch down because if their release date is any where near the big boys release dates then I will wait. Whats a extra month for a known major manufacturer verses a manufacturer thats a first timer in this arena? No major US carriers have even annouced they will carry the Acsend. I mean don't get me wrong the device looks very nice and has the specs to play but the unknowns of the hardware won't let them compete head to head in marketing with the established players. They had time on their side and most likely price point as well but the time advantange has been erased by the delay in release and now they have to be very agressive with price and with this quality of a phone how low can you go? I really like this phone and probably would have gotten it if I had no other options out there but with the SGSIII and HTC One and probably iPhone 5 available soon it's gonna make it tough for me to buy the Ascend over these phones. IMHO

they should release them now bcoz, we all know before june Samsung will definitely unveil the S3 and almost everyone will like it and wait for its release very eagerly. then the D QUADs definitely won't sell. HUAWEI, use some mind if u have.

I like this phone but they should release early before SGS3 launch. The people might forget and they focus their attention to sgs3. There are a lot of anticipation of sgs3 and always

Ascend D quad XL (The one with the bigger battery)imo may well be the biggest dark horse of the year.
It has all the check marks in place. Plus they have promised to price the device 20-25% lower than the competition which is significant.
Also this device is very much real & we know what to expect as against an S3 whose specs are still a fragment of imagination. For all we know they might turnout to be the same as Ascend D quad XL.

I (and I would assume all tech freaks) would base my decision of buying a phone based on what it brings for my buck & not not on how the marketing monkey's project it.
Hence I feel that this device may well be the joker that trumped the king!!!

I've been keeping an eye on this one, I'm hoping it comes to Sprint. I want to try something outside of the HTC/Samsung box, luckily, sprint has a knack for picking up oddball phones.
