So, you have an iPhone 4s, an iPhone 4, or maybe an A5-powered iPad, such as the iPad 2 or the first-gen iPad mini? Ah yea, he was being too specific, I think he meant get anything from 2010+ that is not an Apple product.

This actually makes a huge difference. My 4S was a little laggy, but not anymore. The flow in and out of apps is so much smoother now, Well done, PA.

That is all artificial as hell. You are telling me that these phones can run full 3d games with all those fancy effects but they can't do a few transition animations between 2 static pictures...And that you have to shut it off to make it do about the same animations with about the same static images without frame skips....seriously...

Who would have thought, adding android features on low hardware would show things down?

Happy to hear that it worked. I tried this and I even tried turning off Documents and data in icloud. This trick helped with motion sickness. but Iam still having issues if I have more apps..

Apple supports the iphone 4 and 4s.. fandroids are shaking their heads in disbelief... is not all the features but some is better then none.... take that Nexus...

Nobody is shaking anything. You have to turn off the only original new features that weren't copied off someone else. Add in the fact that each generation back you're already losing features that they don't include by default, and you're left with the same phone you had before the update, essentially .

Exactly.

So to get better performance on older iPhones....you have to make iOS 7 a lil more like 6 or 5.

What is there to shake heads at?

When you can removed the carrier bloatware that default should not be there then you can be a critic… other wise and unless you are not in the US ..well you guys have other issues like the Play Store not reaching every country the sells Android, that by default should… I can keep going on how Android is ripping their customer by not having default settings…

THE ANDROID COMMUNITY - comprised of dozens of linux gods on xda - which is infinitely more powerful than any OEM or manufacturer - supports devices as old as the Nexus one!!

I find your excessive ignorance disturbing.

I find your devotion to Android.... disturbing... for the record .. you rely on a 3rd party developers as your own will operating system will not..

Yes I do. Because their devotion is not driven by economic considerations but by their love of the platform and it's possibilities.

You almost caused me to forget that you don't really have any actual arguments vs my original reply.

Community support >>> OEM support when it comes to open-source software. Always was, always will be.

thje thing here is illia is that nothing I do or say or how many facts I present to you.. will make you change your mind.. and viceversa so all you have presented is your own opinion on a praise on third party developers to keep your phone running intact... good for you and good for me that we both happy with our phones..right... and last community support do not include parts as Apple does to my iphone, I get all from Apple can't say the same

What do you mean by 3rd party developers. Developer is a developer .. In that case all ur apps are not published by apple. They are built by other parties. And please dont again support ios 7.. kitkat is released to run on 512 MB rams and ios 7 OMG I threw off my iphone 4 and I am surprised that apple is not even signing ios 6 . Is that a stragegy or ripping of?

The updates you get, do not come from Google or the carrier, you have to download outside of the Playstore making it a 3rd party, and honestly Android does not care about your 11\2 phone, so just run off to those developers and get your phone up to date..

I have a Gnex and I assume the official suport from Apple is way better than Google, luckly we have a lot of developers that helps us to have newer versions of android without relying on Google or another OEM, but of course, being officially suported is always better, for that I congrats Apple

It is true but apple has one thing for sure, the day they release the update it hits all the devices, even on the nexus end only the latest will get it, and then a couple of weeks/months the next device that was released within 18 months, nothing beyond 18 months. Which would mean the gnexus wouldnt get kit kat, of course you can always get a rom, so is ok but for some people that cant do that is a better option.
