How to email more than five photos and videos at one time with your iPhone and iPad in iOS 7

0. phoneArena 31 Jan 2014, 10:43 posted on

The 5-photo restriction Apple has put in its mailing app is certainly annoying, as there are sometimes loads of pictures from your latest vacation to forward to friends and relatives. Naturally, if you've jailbroken your iDevice, there are options - Cydia has the "Mail More Photos" tweak by iOS dev "noppers" released on the ModMyi repository. This one integrates with your Photos app, and lets you attach any number of items, then share them via email. What if you don't have a jailbroken device, and don't want to bother, though? Fret not, there is a way to attach more than five pictures to your outgoing emails in this case, too, and it is one of the easiest and most useful little tricks in the daily interaction with your iOS device. Check it out in the slideshow below...

Flex 2 also has an unlimited photo send patch. I reccomend this for people who dont want to clutter up and stockpile on cydia packages.

Once u get to 5 pics, just copy and paste more. No jailbreak needed.

LOL are you joking, jailbreak to email more than 5 pics, I didn't even know that was a problem on iOS. They never fail to amaze me on how much ridiculousness poor Apple fans have to live with for no good reason.

No different than the lack of auto video compression and auto edit in android. Ya know the one that gives the "cannot attach file size to large popup. Yeahhhhh, sometimes it happens when trying to email too many pics to. Now u know. See I have flagships from both platforms, so I know the strengths and weaknesses of both. My note 3 does the same thing. Now what?

Well it doesn't but that auto compression is destructive compression that reduces the quality significantly. With droid it isn't auto, but you can compress with non destructive formats as well as just sending the video via Bluetooth or WiFi direct or just streaming to your recipient directly with screen sharing. All I am saying is you have choice but it requires some minor effort about as easy as tapping phones together or putting it in dropbox or something.

Personally I can't find any reason to carry two phones much less an iPhone and droid. I don't really know what purpose the iPhone serves in that group being largely useless multimedia wise and worse yet for productivity. Maybe texting with one hand maybe but I solved that problem with swiping to type long ago.

If you don't compress the video before recording it, it's unsendable, especially if it's more than 20 second. I don't care about you not finding a reason to carry two phones. I do it, cuz as a true techie I love more than one platform. The iPhone May be useless to you, but to countless millions of others it's a great device, you'll never know till you own one. As I said, I own both and I also use my wife's old HTC 8X, that she gave up for the 5s. I actually have 3 platforms. "Largely useless multimedia wise and worse yet for productivity"...please. As I said I rock both, and both have their pros and cons. Just remember android has file size limits too, just like the 5s. Go record a vid without first selecting limit for mms to resize it, and see if you don't get met with "cannot attach file size too large". I love my note 3 and 5s. Swipe LMAOOOOO ok.

Apple is gonna have to break down and include a paperclip/attach file icon in their email software if they want to be taken seriously for business use. Think attaching >5 pics takes some effort? Have fun attaching PDF, Excel, and Word docs from various places all in one email.
