It appears as though that some Dell Streak 7 owners are getting the update just a little bit earlier than the rumored date of October 7th – though, some are reporting different stories in regards to its installation process...

I'd hold off on buying it. I've been trying to get the store Streak to update all day and it just keeps erroring out over n over again. Its been the worst tablet ive seen for a good while now. Nice hardware but Dell really bunked up the software. If i could ever get the update to load correctly and go to that nice stock honeycomb experience, im sure it would be night and day. I'll update if it ever does.. lol
