The guys over at Awesomness TV picked on the iPhone 5 buzz immediately, and created a sophisticated prank for all those that were waiting in line to get it. As you can guess, hilarity ensues, when one of the pranksters, dressed up as a Genius Bar staffer, chats casually with the Apple queue, then drops the alleged boxes full of iPhone 5 units in front of their eyes...

Would have been really great if the actor had gotten visibly upset and started throwing the boxes around. "My time isn't worth it for the Chinese pieces of trash!" and such.

Okay, so the first prank was filmed at Westfield Topanga Mall. Second scene, not so sure but the third one was at the AT&T store in Sherman Oaks by Van Nuys Blvd. and the Verizon Store was the one in the Encino Commons. I know this because I live in the San Fernando Valley and I've known this valley my whole life so yes, I know these places by heart.

And btw, this was genius.
