Hey yall, if you are having problems, try this alternative way.

Link: bit.ly/15kXwPH

NOTE: On the page to download the ova from the link in the videp description, download the gapps & houdini & flash file to get the google play store. Link (bit.ly/12rybiF)
Also esc is like the home button to get out of apps.

I hope this helps :)

kinda a false title, installing an OS in a virtual machine is not the same as installing it on your PC proper...

Yes. Use VMware Workstation instead of Oracle VM virtualBox to host the virtual machine. This solved the problem for me.

I had a quick question. When it says remove the live ISO, is it talking about removing the disk image completely, releasing it, or unchecking the check box?

Better question, since I got it to work. How do I get wifi to work? Or should it just work by default?

Hi ! I followed your instructions almost all the way except for :

10.After installing remove live iso from VirtualBox and reboot. Now you can boot into Android 4.2.2.

Q : How do you 'remove live iso and reboot' exactly. I ended up with a screen that stops at the word .... ANDROID ... with a blinking cursor. If you have an email address I can send you a screen shot of my VirtualBox screen. Thanks !

followed the instructions listed. except it is really vague ".After installing remove live iso from VirtualBox and reboot. Now you can boot into Android 4.2.2." so I rebooted now my computer is unable to start. if by some chance its irreversible. how exactly do you uninstall live iso ? I did a search for this topic and there were at least 15 sites regurgitating the exact same thing that is on this one
