Have no fear, iPhone 5 jailbreak is near

Chronic Dev developer planetbeing issued this picture showing his white iPhone 5 well on its way to be jailbroken from the Cupertino shackles. Notice the abundance of unauthorized widgets in the pull-down notification bar? Nice.

At this stage, he says, the puzzle is still falling into place, as Apple made the phone harder to jailbreak, or likely the existing exploits have been patched, so the hacker is looking for new ones, and making strides in the process from the looks of it:

“I would characterize it more as finding the missing pieces rather than debugging at this stage. Typically the messiest part of the jailbreak process has been installing it in the first place... We’re further along than WWJC. But again, I can’t give any specifics. The jailbreak itself is stable but we’re missing needed exploits. I can’t discuss what we’re missing."

If history is any indication, we should see the first jailbreaking solutions for the iPhone 5 next month, and asked whether the situation with the exploits is still "grim", like he said at WWJC few weeks ago, the hacker this time answered "Not at all." Now that it's legal, why not.

i can't wait to Jailbreak mine to.
Why pay for Apps, when it's vailable for free "Cydia" Apple is ripping of the public way to much....

this is fake as hell. iphone 5 can't be jailbroken anymore. you all iphone owners should sell your prosion phones and get a windows or andriod phone or look for a diffrent os system

Really people. Go buy a damn android if you want to jail break it not only the iphone 5 but all previous iPhones. I hope the ip5 doesn't allow people to jail break it. Like they said earlier the developers have to get paid as well.
