Have friends track you with the BLUE GPS shoes
It's pretty amazing what kind of services that are offered with GPS. Some out there are quite useful while other times you scratch your head and just wonder why. You obviously can use it for turn-by-turn navigation or keep track of children who plan on playing hooky. Now jumping into a pair of shoes will allow your friends to monitor your location through Facebook or other social networking sites. The BLUE GPS, announced by the Issac Daniels Group, is a GPS enabled shoe that can be tracked with the users mobile phone through Bluetooth. We'd imagine this could very well be useful to some out there, but maybe this may prove to be just another novelty. Although there might be an illusion that it makes you jump higher or further, at least you can run knowing your friends can hone in on your location. Right now it's only available in Latin America and buyers are expected to pay $150 for these one of a kind shoes.

why need the shoes at all? If it needs your mobile phone to work, why not just track the user directly from the GPS on the phone? I smell shenanigans...

You guys are missing a point here, water proof, longer battery life and It is also being tagged as "Social networking with your feet" due to the ability for it to be tracked on Facebook and other social networking sites.

:D They should use these shoes for lazy cops or convict that will likely to escape so that they can catch them back or lay off some lazy cops. And not to mention some companies might use it on its lazy employees ROFL.
