Hands on with the BlackBerry Curve 8520
The Curve 8520, nee Gemini, is inching its way closer to officialness.  While still not confirmed by RIM, we've got a test unit and have to say it has some promise.  The new entry level into the Curve family is fairly pedestrian in specifications, lacking 3G data just like rest of the 8xxx series, but makes up for it with a svelte design and slick optical trackpad.  Other specs remain pretty much the same as the GSM 83xx cousins, with Wi-Fi, EDGE, a 2 megapixel camera.  Also like the 83xx, we'll probably see a 8510 with GPS, which is lacking in the 8520.  Why RIM continues to do this we have no idea.  Still, the 8520 is a fine entry level BlackBerry.  Stay tuned for our full review soon!
