i personally don't like them because i've only had LG phones on my current contract and they all broke and one employee hinted on are you breaking them and later they Venus, Env2, chocolate 3 were discontinued or dropped rapidly in price but now i have the alias 2 which is fine. and what's with the designs on the back of LG phones now its ugly.

if you think about it, usually after a year a phone is discontinued and something else comes out. and usually a phone costs more when it comes out and then goes down in price which is also known as supply and demand. both basic business practices.

does the env touch have themes that you can get off line like an iphone theme or what not or even the storm theme

you can only get themes on the iphone if it is jailbroken, so don't consider the env touch worse than the iphone just cause you cant download themes (you cant on the iphone either)

scratch the dare. the touch and versa will offer the same as the dare but more. i had the dare and it started to annoy me a lot that i didnt have an option to type with a keyboard. but other than that it was a nice phone. i traded the dare in for the env2 and have been very happy with it but the tiny screen is starting to get to me. other than that i have no major complaints about the phone. im going to be getting the env touch. im pretty psyched about it!

im in the same situation as u but i probably will get the Versa since it has 4 different screens lol LG Versa FTW haha.......

@skylite- yah I am pretty sure that I will not get the Dare now that it is a year old. I would get the enV3, but since the enV Touch will only be $20 more, it is a no brainer. @bng- I like the Versa, but the Touch's keyboard looks a lot nicer, and it will also be $50 cheaper. It also as a way nicer camera, and a 3.5mm jack. I do like the Versa, but the Touch seems like a better deal in the end. Unless the Versa's price comes down. What I would really like to see is a Dare 2, but there has been no talk of that yet.

I know, that was one of my possibilities, but I figure that just as I get it, a Dare 2 will come out , since it is a year old. :p But can you still switch phones within the first month of your upgrade?

Yes you can, it's a $35 restocking fee per phone unless you are a Verizon VIP customer.

The one thing that sucks with Env3 is that it gained an HTML browser and that silly dashboard, meaning that it can't be enjoyed by prepaid customers. The Env2 was popular with prepaid customers, and to have the upgrade to that phone denied to them becuase of a few features is silly and absurd.

I agree that the LG ENVTOUCH looks nice !!! its like an LG DARE and LV VERSA put to 2gether !!! I'm not sure if i mite get it cause I'm waiting on the LG VERSA TRANSFORMER edition... I do like my dare but it already got old.... The Versa software looks BAD ASS !!! but the whole 2MP camera makes it look cheap in a way... I just hope the ENVTOUCH lives up to its HYPE !!!

oh yea I forgot to mention it would be bad ass to see an LG DARE 2.... but who knows if that'll happen since there hasn't been any word on that ... =(
