Maybe a slim touch hd 1 with a 1ghz clean 5 meg cam android or wm 6.5 or 7 touch flo 2.6, 3.6 to 4.0 inch screen. The phones I see here don't really turn me on maybe somethings missing .

i love htc, the way it makes its phones, the way it wants a phone that actually gets us. but the phones they are making are somehow disappointing, but i believe its one of those saying that you cant judge a book by its cover deal things. i wanted a phone that looked stylish as the original htc hero and fast typing of the htc touch pro 2. not like the g1 but the touch pro 2s keyboard under the chin as well, so my thumb can actually type better. going to be hard but i thought htc could pull it off. the only ones i like from this selection is the bravo, legend, and buzz, and tera. the legend looks like the htc eris w/o trackball which i kind of find disappointing. the bravo looks alright, but it doesnt have the sense ui. and the buzz, well, it doesnt look as great to me as the original hero but i would buy it. but it does look alright. but i still dont get why there is no snapdragon processors at all. and the tera, it looks like a downgrade form the htc touch pro 2. 4 row keys. im guessing htc is planning for the original consumer this year, which kinda blows since i wanted a cool great one. i hope they make better phones next quarter.

I like the look of Legend, it's just looks like a Hero, but I like the look of the Hero more, it's just the OLED screen of the Legend and the 600 MHz processor that would make the Sense UI even more entertaining to use. I just don't like how they are reducing all the WinMo screen sizes, the Tera which is supposed to be Pro3, has only a 3.0" screen and a 4-row QWERTY!! Why?! The Bravo is good with those specs, but a 5.0 MP cam sounds outdated, even with HD recording, and it seems to be running TouchFLO not Sense!! Can't get why?! Sense is way to better, specially for Android!

buzz and salsa look good, but they pretty much shot the rest to poop.

the TP2 doesnt sell that well. maybe they are shrinking it to reduce cost so its not priced so far above other handsets that work better anyways. I just want a slim 4.5-5inch amoled touch screen Android phone with a 2000mhz++ battery, snapdragon, 8mp++ camera w/flash and GOOD camera app (megapixels dont mean squat if the app that uses the camera sux!!), and a gig or more of system/onboard/app ram... and of course expandable to 32gb or higher. Give me base android so its easy to hack and ill prob not buy another phone for quite some time. oh and NOT a glass screen so it doesnt shatter so darn easily! lol

Design wise, I love htc right now, I want to save up to get the HD2, but I might have to wait and see what's available for the States next year. I guess I'm the only person who hopes htc doesn't go over 4'' w/ their displays-4'' is the perfect size for a display that'll still enable the phone to be pocket-able and keeping a sexy profile. I, myself, am content w/ a 3.2'' or even 3.5'' screen, I don't want to feel like I'm making a grand announcement to the world every time I pull my phone out. So I'm thankful that, so far, htc is keeping compact profiles. 'Legend' is by far my fave- the perfect successor to the Hero- replacing the track ball w/ a track pad, softening the lines up a bit, and adding much needed flash for the camera. I do wish the processor was a bit more beefy, but I'd still be happy.
