HTC working on an Android unit with two displays?
It seems as though HTC is working on something very interesting. According to AndroidGuys, a close friend of the site who used to work at HTC Taiwan, noticed something new about the LinkedIn  profile of a former co-worker who still works for the company. Under current activities, the worker wrote that he is working on "dual screen software architecture" for Android. No device is mentioned, no time-frame is discussed. Even if HTC is assigning employees to a dual screen project, it also doesn't guarantee that a finished product will ever see the light of day. Still, it is interesting to see that the Taiwanese based fiirm is not only continuing to embrace Android, it is also apparently stretching its boundries.

I hope they do it well, this sort of thing has a lot of potential(I think it would be awesome to have a primary input screen and a primary output screen with the input screen offering access to customizable windows/other information while the main screen displays major applications in use ) but have no idea what their conception is.

the env and voyager have 2 screens, but they are just regular screens. if its 2 touch screens it could be interesting to see what kind of android mods they come up with. it would be fun to be able to use like navigation and browse the web at the same time or something to that effect. so much for "i can call and surf at the same time". lol. "i can call, surf, and navigate at the same time, sucker!" :)

Well if it comes to Verizon or Sprint, it still wont be able to call and use data at the same time.
