i wish there was a more open forum from the cell companies themselves instead of all of our guessing. i love vzw but would love them more if there was more open communication from them instead of all the secrecy. i'm sure the same goes for customers from other companies. vzw's common response is 'we can't tell you more b/c we don't want to give empty promises'... in summary.

I think it's more about them not trying to sell you a phone that's coming out in November. They'd much rather you buy a phone now.

yeah you're right, but with my new every two, i wouldn't have to pay anything for say, a BB curve. with the diamond, i'd have to pay money, and am willing to pay money. though i guess your point would say that i'd have to pay full price for the diamond if i used my new every two right now! oh just the anticipation of the diamond is killing me!!!! i also feel that if the diamond is coming out for sprint in late august/early sept as suggested, vzw can't be far behind, can it?!

The Sprint verison is branded as the diamond I know because the SKU to sell it is already available in their system the SRP is 549.99 and the discounted price is still being worked out. they already have set reps who will be recieving the phone very shortly to train everyone in their stores. I saw all of the paperwork when I was in the store.

touch diamond is crap compared to the touch Pro and Raphael is the same phone..r they the same??

will i was just at the sprint store and demo-ed the diamnond, and you can contact sprint for more info on the phone. sprint does have exclusive rights to the processor in the phone, and the VZW version runs a 400mz processor instead of the 528mz of the sprint

The HTC diamond is exclusive to SPrint and is being released to them on September 6th. You all can't get anything straight.
