"Some cellphone makers have just started to understand the simple math of the problem-a 3.5mm plug cannot fit into a 2.5mm jack" in situations like this I find that if you just keep pounding away it'll usually end up in the hole

There is a headphone jack on the "dongle" but not directly on the phone itself. That does make connections annoying, but you do have both a headset connection and a headphone connection.

i am just happy they put a headphone jack on the phone I hate using a adapter my 6700 had a adapter my touch used a adapter and my touch pro uses a adapter, and I do understand why most cellphones use a 2.5mm because its the standard plug for a telephone. ye yea I know most of you dont have a home phone but phones have always used a 2.5mm also it encourages people to buy a headset that has a microphone on it so you can use it like a phone (kind of a silly concept why would people want to talk on there phones)
