The mediatek chipset in lenovo s920/s820 Is not on par or even better than note 2, optimus g, butterfly, and xperia z/zl.
in terms of performance the mediatek chipset is about on the same level with last year qualcomm chipset like MSM8260A or MSM8960 Dual core 1.5 GHz krait cpu with adreno 225.
I don’t really know about 305 but HTC First and One SV with only adreno 305 is capable for 1080 video capture and playback.

Thay can put 16 cores on a Mediatek chip and it will still lag.

You have no ideal what you are talking about. Mediatek use the A7 which is more then enough if your software is coded right. Samsung has the over clock S600 and it still lag compare to the dual core Moto X which is smooth, the HTC one is smooth and lag free too. It has alway been software. All the currect chip is fast enough now.

This $12mi contract with Downey Jr make me remember when Apple made those series of amazing ads called Apple vs PC, then Microsoft paid a lot o money to Jerry Seinfeld and made those crapy ads that talked about nothing

Ultrapixel isn't bad just need more camera pixels it least 8MP and better optimization plus ultrapixels and Xperia z1 camera the only Android camera phones that gives true to live colors.
