okay... so apple, the company that has all its life come out with stuf after everybody else, is now suing a company that breathed life and originallity into the smart phone market. oh and theyre suing someone who's been at it the game longer. suing someone who has an alliance with google. everything about the iphone is really stolen. the name = the name of some other phone. the design, sorry to break it down, was stolen from the LG prada. also, the "slide to unlock" is nothing like the multiple ways that android phones can be unlocked. the only one with slightly similar means of unlocking are the droid and nexus, and theyre not the same. they can go left or right for different purposes. apple truly is being a wining baby. but theyre right, they shouldnt sit back and do nothing. they should actually make true innovations that arent so general so that they dont have to worry about anything. apple needs to update everything about the iDinosaur before the freggin google meteor comes to knock it out into extinction

If Apple manages to get an injunction against HTC products in the US based on this lawsuit [frivolous or not], then Google suffers from lost Nexus One sales, Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Series suffers incredible setbacks without HTC US as a launch partner, and HTC suffers major losses too as Microsoft makes up the majority of their sales historically. This is a last ditch effort by Jobs to protect his iCr@p from competition that can do it real harm, to protect his business model of selling incremental upgrades to his undeservedly loyal installed base, and is a direct response to the HTC marketing campaign that has been making inroads into the market segment that houses Job's target consumer. Luckily, I doubt an injunction could happen, but I have not seen the details of the case...
